BACKGROUND

The Town's previous Comprehensive Plan was written in 1993 with an anticipated window of about 20 years or 2002.  While there is no set time period or "expiration date" for a Comprehensive Plan, a timeframe of 10-12 years is more conducive for providing adequate time for achieving goals but also to compensate for changing times.  The Town has never developed a Farmland Protection Plan.  Past planning documents are provided below as well as any draft documents associated with the update process, after reviewing and approval by the Town for public viewing.
